Hey there, I’m Emily!
I’m an experienced backpacker who has thru-hiked multiple long-distance trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail, but also love playing day hiker and road-tripper on my quest to visit all the USA National Parks.
I discovered my love of hiking in Washington State, but nowadays you can mostly find me in my home range, the Sierra Nevada.
I started this blog to help other women navigate the outdoors: finding gear that works for them, helping them feel confident in the backcountry, and helping them plan epic trips to stunning outdoor destinations.
