    ByEmily Schrick June 17, 2020March 12, 2026

I’m looking forward to testing some brand new gear on this trip, and continuing to use some newer gear as well. There’s no better place to try out new gear than actually on trail! For a late July Wonderland hike, I have hopes of good…

Camping at the Steep Ravine Environmental Campground

    ByEmily Schrick June 17, 2019July 14, 2024

With such close proximity to San Francisco, Mount Tamalpais and Marin County are super popular areas for city-dwellers to get outside and explore! The Steep Ravine campground, in particular, is very popular and difficult to reserve during the high season. I booked this camping trip…

Hey, I'm Emily!

I thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail as a beginner backpacker in 2018 and haven't been able to stop backpacking, hiking, and adventuring ever since!

My goal is to help other women feel more confident in being outside, planning their own outdoor-focused trips, and exploring our wild spaces - in the USA and beyond.
